HARD WORK, COMPETITION AND EXCITEMENT at the European Lacrosse Federation’s Womens U21 in prague

July 3rd, 2023 will be a moment to remember in the history of lacrosse in Spain. Our U21 women’s national team made their international debut at the European U21 Women’s Championship held in Prague (Czech Republic) and organized by the European Lacrosse Federation (ELF).

Our players faced some of the most experienced teams from all over Europe, demonstrating in every game their commitment, passion, and exceptional skills. Despite it being their first international tournament, the Spanish athletes gave their all both on and off the field throughout the championship.

The hard work and careful preparation of the players would not have been possible without the dedication of the team of coaches and support staff. This group of professionals has been working for more than a year to prepare for this important international challenge. Their experience and commitment are fundamental to the continued growth of lacrosse in Spain.

Throughout the tournament, our players also demonstrated great camaraderie and sportsmanship. Beyond the results on the scoreboard, the team’s passion for the sport and respect for their opponents were praised by the fans. Each match was an opportunity to learn and share new experiences, and we are confident that this debut on the international stage is just the beginning of an exciting journey for our U20 team.

We also would like to thank the involvement of the group of players, coaches and staff. Their dedication and effort were exemplary and raised the visibility of Spanish lacrosse in Europe. As well, we greatly appreciated the fans who attended the games in Prague to cheer on the Spanish players.

The ELF Women's U21 Lacrosse Championship was an unforgettable experience, and we are determined to continue to grow and improve in the years to come.
